제32분-The Delusion of Appearances

Subhuti,someone might fill innumerable worlds with the seven treasures and give all away in gifts of alms,but if any good man or any good woman awakens the thought of Enlightenment and takes even only four lines from this Discourse, reciting, using,

receiving, retaining and spreading them abroad and explaining them for the benefit of others, it will be far more meritorious.

Now in what manner may he explain them to others? By detachment from appearances-abiding in Real Truth.-So I tell you-

Thus shall you think of all this fleeting world:

A star at dawn,a bubble in a stream;

A flash of lightening in a summer cloud,

A flickering lamp,a phantom,and a dream.

When Buddha finished this Discourse the venerable Subhuti,together with the bhikshus,bhikshunis,lay-brothers and sisters,and the whole realms of Gods,Men and Titans,were filled with joy by His teaching, and, taking it sincerely to heart they went their ways.

수보리여! 만약 어떤 사람이 우주에 가득찬 칠보로써 보시한다면, 만약 선남자 선여인이 보리심을 일으켜 이 경전을 수지 또는 사구게를 독송하여 다른 사람을 위해 설명해 준다면, 그 복은 앞의 복보다 클 것이다.
자, 그럼 어떻게 다른 사람을 위해 설명해 주어야 하는가? 상에 집착하지 않고 여여부동하여야 할 것이다. 왜냐하면 일체의 유위법은 꿈이나 환상, 물거품이나 그림자와 같고, 이슬과도 같고, 여름하늘에 내리치는 번개와도 같으니 마땅히 이렇게 보아야 하느니라."
부처께서 이 경전을 다 말씀하시고 나자, 수보리 및 모든 비구과 비구니,재가의 남녀 수행인, 일체 세간의 천, 인, 아수라가 모두 부처의 말씀을 듣고 모두 크게 기뻐하며 자기 갈 길을 걸어나갔다.

 

[겉모습은 모두 환상]

우리가 행하는 보시의 종류는 많습니다.

우리가 금강경을 깨달아 일상생활에 적용시킬 수 있다면  인생 최대의 복을 얻게되는 것이고 망상의 고리에서 자유로워질 수 있는 것입니다. 금강경의 사구게만이라도 이해하고 다른사람에게 설명할 수 있으면  그 복은 다른 복 보다 더 크며  더 큰 보시입니다. 어떻게? 상에 집착하지 않고 여여부동하게.

삶이란

아침 하늘에 떠 있는 하나의 별이며

끊임없이 나타났다 사라지는 물거품이며

여름하늘에 내리치는 벼락과 같으며

순간 나타났다 사라지는 허깨비!

이렇듯 삶은 하나의 꿈과 같은것!
