제10분-Setting Forth Pure Lands

 

Buddha said: Subhuti,what do you think? In the remote past when the Tathagatg was with Dipankara Buddha,did he have any degree of attainment in the Good Law?

No,World-honoured one. When the Tathagata was with Dipankara Buddha he had no degree of attainment in the Good Law.

Subhuti,what do you think? Does a Bodhisattva set forth any majestic Buddha-lands? No,World-honoured one. Wherefore? Because setting forth majestic Buddha-lands is not a majestic setting forth;this is merely name.

〔Then Buddha continued:〕Therefore, Subhuti, all Bodhisattvas,lesser and great,should develop a pure,lucid mind,not depending upon sound,flavour,touch,odour or any quality. A Bodhisattva should develop a mind which alights upon no thing whatsoever; and so should he establish it. Subhuti,this may be likened to a human frame as large as the mighty Mount Sumeru.

What do you think? Would such a body be great?

Subhuti replied: Great indeed,World-honoured one. This is because Buddha has explained that no body is called a great body.

 

부처님께서 수보리에게 말씀하십니다,어떻게 생각하는가?
여래가 과거 연등불 회상에 있을때 법에 대하여 깨달은 것이 있는가?
"없습니다,세존이시여. 여래께서 연등불 회상에서 법에 대해 실로 얻은 바가 없었습니다."
"수보리여 그대 생각은 어떤가? 보살에게 장엄한 불교의 땅이 있는가?"
"없습니다. 세존! 왜냐하면 장엄한 불교의 땅은 장엄하지 않으며, 그것을 이름하여 장엄하다고 하기 때문입니다." 그러므로 수보리여! 모든 보살마하살은 마땅히 이렇게 청정심이 생기며, 마땅히 색에 머물러 마음이 생기지 않으며," 마땅히 머무는 바 없이 그 마음이 생긴다.수보리여! 비유컨데 어떤 사람이 신체가 수미산 같다면, 그대 생각은 어떤가? 몸이 크지 않은가?"
수보리가 말합니다. " 매우 큽니다.세존! 왜냐하면 부처께서 몸이 아닌 것을 이름하여 큰 몸이라 했기 때문입니다.

 

 

 

부처님의 진정한 깨달음은 깨달음이라 말하지 않습니다.

진정한 깨달음이란 그것이 없음을 깨닫는 것이고 오직 나의 본래의 모습으로 되돌아 가는것.

순간순간 그냥 할 뿐. 있는 그대로 행동하는 것.

깨달음은 특별한 것이 아닙니다.

보살은 기적을 일으키는 자가 아닙니다.

불교의 목적은 다시 돌아오지 않는 것, 모두 없애버리는 것

열정도 없애고, 욕망도 없애고, 화도 없애고 없애고,없애고,없애고..........

참으로 간단하고 쉽지만 어려운 일입니다.
