제2분-Subhuti Makes a Request

 

Now in the midst of the assembly was the Venerable Subhuti. Forthwith he arose,uncovered his right shoulder,knelt upon his right knee,and,respectfully raising his hands with palms joined,addressed Buddha thus : World-honoured one,it is most precious how mindful the Tathagata is of all the Bodhisattvas,protecting and instructing them so well! World-honoured one,if good men and good women seek the Consummation of Incomparable Enlightenment, by what criteria should they abide and how should they control their thoughts?

Buddha said : Very good,Subhuti! Just as you say,the Tathagatha is ever-mindful of all the Bodhisattvas,protecting and instructing them well. Now listen and take my words to heart: I will declare to you by what criteria good men and good women seeking the Consummation of Incomparable Enlightenment should abide,and how they should control their thoughts.

Said Subhti: Pray,do,World-honoured one. With joyful anticipation we long to hear.

 

그때 장로 수보리가 대중 가운데서 일어나 오른쪽 어깨의 옷을 결쳐 메고 오른쪽 무릎을 꿇어 합장하며 부처님께 여쭈었다.
"참으로 희유한 일이옵니다.세존이시여,여래께서는 모든 보살들을 잘 보살펴 주시고 보살들에게 중생을 잘 제도하도록 당부하시옵니다. 세존이시여,선남자,선여인들이 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리심을 내고는 마땅히 어떻게 생각하고, 어떻게 마음가짐을 다스려야 하옵니까?"
"착하고 착하도다 수보리야, 그대 말과 같이 여래는 모든 보살들을 잘 보살피고 보호하며 모든 보살들에게 불법을 맡기고 당부하느리라.자세히 듣거라 내 그대를 위해 설하리라.선남자,선여인들이 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리심을 내면 마땅히 이와 같이 머물며 이렇게 스스로의 마음을 항복 받아야 하느니라" "예,세존이시여,기꺼이 듣겠습니다."

 

1품에서 순간순간의 마음 ,깨어있는 삶을 이야기 하고 있습니다.

현각스님은 금강경은 유리처럼 투명하다고 말씀하고 계십니다. 존재하지만 존재하지 않는다.

2품에서 수보리는 어떻게하면 부처님 처럼 살 수 있는지 부처님께 묻고 수보리 또한 부처님 처럼 살고 싶어 합니다. 흔적 없이 자국없이, 집착이나 군더더기  생각 없이 어린이같은 삶, 이것이 바로 부처입니다. 우리가 느끼는 모든 것-비소리를 듣는 것, 바람을 느끼는 것, 냄새를 맡는 것 이모두가 부처라는 겁니다.

머리속에서 확실하게 정리는 안되지만 더 공부하다보면 도 통할까요?
